The FCGS is an association of professional and academic geologists in the Four Corners Area who meet regularly to discuss subjects and problems related to geology. We explore and develop the Earth's resources, foster scientific research, disseminate information and maintain high standards of professional conduct.

Expanding Knowledge Through Shared Experience

Every month from September through May, FCGS brings together geologists, researchers, students and industry professionals for engaging presentations on cutting-edge geological topics. From Paradox Basin developments to paradigm shifting interpretations, our speaker series keeps the Four Corners geological community connected and informed.

Our field trips take learning beyond the conference room, exploring the spectacular geological formations that make our region unique. Whether you're examining Paleozoic accreted terranes or Jurassic dinosaur bones, FCGS events combine professional knowledge with the hands-on experience that defines great geology.
