Newsletter Summary

Summer 2019 newsletter introduces 2019-2020 FCGS officers and Foundation board members. Annual picnic scheduled August 25th at Junction Creek with horseshoe tournament and raffle. Fall field trip October 5th: hike Molas Pass to Elk Park with train ride back, led by David Gonzales. Foundation awards two $500 MS thesis grants. Membership dues clarification for transition year. Photo highlights from May Fruitland methane seeps trip and June Ouray geology trip. 2020 RMS-AAPG meeting planning update with field trips and technical sessions outlined.
