Dr. Chris Heine will present “Ancient Dunes, World-Class Reservoirs: Linking Four Corners Eolian Sandstones to Prolific Saudi Arabian Reservoirs,” describing how outcrop analogs from the Cedar Mesa and Entrada sandstones led to reinterpretation of Saudi Arabia’s Unayzah reservoir as an eolian system, reshaping exploration and development strategies. Andy Darling reflects in Prez Sez on historic regional flooding, debris flows, and avulsions. Regional news highlights widespread flood impacts across the Four Corners.
